Belgian Design Pavilion X Kanvas Spanplafonds

The iconic Broel Towers are the place where history and future meet during WONDER. Under the title Belgian Design Pavilion, curators Timon Mattelaer and Joris Verstrepen will bring the cream of Belgian contemporary design to Kortrijk, as they previously did in Milan during Design Week. 

Expect a new collection of objects by Sam Kerckaert, Koen Van Guijze, Fractall, Wouter Persyn, Studio Part, Jord Lindelauf, An Gillis, Timon Mattelaer, Thibeau Scarcériaux, Dries Truyers, Studio Fuho, Marijke Jans, Hanne Cornette, Verstrepen.studio, Morevi, Elias Vanorshaegen, Sander Demeulemeester, Studio Franche, Giel Dedeurwaerder, Atelier Ikke and Thomas Eggermont.. These Belgian designers share a distinctive visual style that fits seamlessly with the current Belgian design movement.

The scenography comes about in collaboration with Kanvas Spanplafonds, an interior finishing company owned by entrepreneur Irven Kindt. Their acoustic banner serves as a stylish framework for the design pieces. What brings them together is the desire for creation, excessive thinking and a shared passion for interiors and design.
